Barack Obama and David Cameron in Middle-East talks.

Posted on March 14, 2012

As British Prime Minister David Cameron visits US President Barack Obama, the two discussed issues like  Syria, Iran and Afghanistan. Military intervention in Syria is still considered unlikely and it is feared it could lead to civil war. As for Iran, the American and British leaders agree that a diplomatic solution to Iran’s nuclear ambitions is still viable. Finally, they claimed that leaving Afghanistan in full control of local authorities will be achieved gradually by 2014, as previously planned.
