South Korea and the US have raised concerns over Pyongyang’s satellite launch, set to take place in mid April. The launch will coincide with the 100th anniversary of North Korea’s father Kim il-Sung’s birth. South Korea have condemned this act as a provocation against peace and stability in Korea and the Far East as the technology needed to launch a satellite into orbit is almost identical to the one needed to launch a ballistic missiles.
